Acasti Pharma Inc. is a Canada-based late-stage biopharma company with drug candidates addressing rare and orphan diseases. The placebo in both Trilogy trials

Trilogy trials plural, both use corn starch as the placebo.

And as previously disclosed, the placebo we’re using in the TRILOGY studies is simple cornstarch, which is inert, and consequently is expected to have a neutral effect on key biomarkers of patients in the placebo group, and furthermore unlike mineral oil, cornstarch has no known effect on statin absorption or on statin efficacy.
