There has to be a sense of urgency shown by management to be "proactive" in these troubled times.  I seem to recall that Atlantic Gold was in the news last year when they announced that they planned to store or transfer a shipment of cyanide in Truro which was destined to their Moose River site.  I believe this was resolved with the local Government.  I have no idea where the cyanide is stored.

Meanwhile, expenses continue to rise.  A good example; in 2006 the CEO, CFO and COO received a combined compensation amount of $160,833.00 and in 2007 this amount ballooned  to the sum of $686,000.00 well over 400%.  One can argue that the outlook was good for this company in 2006 and money was easy to raise, however this is 2008 and the tide has certainly changed on planet earth.
