RE: Audio Message by Atlantic Gold

RE: Audio Message by Atlantic GoldHello gecko_dgn,

Thanks for the link to the interview with Atlantic Gold's CEO Wally Bucknell.  As he stated, any agreement with ADA depends on financing in these troubling times.

It was also interesting to note that Atlantic's 1-20 rights issue that was to close last Friday if fully subscribed would raise 1.2 million,  That is less than ADA's 3 senior managers will receive in salary and bonuses in 2007-2008, unless they revert back to their 2006 compensation levels.

I am still a shareholder in ADA and do not consider this a negative post.  If as Mr. Bucknell sugests (providing financing is secured, permits granted and an agreement is reached with ADA), it will be the end of next year that the Acadia Mill can ne utilized to process their gold, ADA needs to take a serious look at trimming costs to stay solvent.  This situation could be resolved quickly, if the price of Zinc and Lead increases and markets are available.  That is not about to happen in the very near future.
