Financial Statements

As you asked Ol guy . SEDAR reporting states the requirements for financials. To the best of my knowledge AXI has always fully complied with their reporting and disclosure.  so techincally, they are not to slow at all in reporting.

the problem is SEDAR allows for a four month delay, I believe on the year end and fourth quarter reports, which unfortunately for investors in AXI are the ones that disclose the costs for the previous year's final exploration and operations, and indicate how much cash is available to move forward.

I am not sure why people are claiming their reporting is to slow. It is frustrating, but not slow.

On the other hand the optics  of it are not good, as there has been no actual cash injection into the company for some time, so the assumptions that they maybe a bit tight on cash are most likely quite valid. But lets face it, what should we expect? An Nr that says hey folks, were pretty much broke , but we are working on it.

Having said that, however, I have seen AXi management pull the rabbit out of the hat in the past when their back was to the wall, and I expect they are not just sitting around waiting for the check for the debentrue to arrive. Lets hope that is the case anyway.

I for one, have criticized AXI for releasing almost news in the past, so at this point I am a bit impressed with their restraint in holding back an NR until they have  all their ducks in a row.  It is always tempting for a compnay to release an NR when their stock is languishing.

As to the bashing of management, I think that really applies to only one or two people here. Same goes for the number  rather cheering for the management.

I readily admit I have questioned the relevency of the VP explorations past experience,, but I believe that was fair comment based on his resume. Others may have a different opinion and that is fine, as long as they do not wish to have us all believe their opinion is the correct one.

As far as posters go, I  always take a few minutes to review all the posts of a poster on this site, and the responses. I find it enlighting, and it gives me an edge on assessing their credabilty.

the reality of the situation is, the sp is not rising, much, or in comparison to some other companies, and some of the investors and posters are getting testy about it, and resorting to attacking anyone who they deem posting something they dont want to see posted.  To bad really. We can all learn as much or more from those who disagree with us then those who gather round and high five each other.

Best of luck in your decisions

AXI's current investor presentation and company fact sheet both list a cash position of $8.3 million. This was the cash position at the end of June. It's now mid-February. It's not that hard to update a company presentation with the current cash position--it would probably take 2 minutes of effort. * The 3Q financial statement (Sept 30th, 2011) listing a cash position of ...more
