Forward in the darkEquity markets thrive on diverging views but for the moment the only people prospering on Armtec are the brokers collecting trading commissions. Bold gamblers may well reap some reward but it's hard to accept that the company's performance failures of recent years have been passively sanctioned by the Board simply to create an arena of penny stock furor. It seems highly unlikely that Armtec will have either the human or financial resources or the necessary level of contracts to weather this storm. It's time for the directors and senior management to do the honourable thing by falling on their swords and forego unearned severance packages.
