What a difference 5 years Makes

What a difference 5 years Makes
Around this time 5 years ago Armtec was basking in the news of being the low bidder for supplying tunnel segments to the Spadina TTC expansion. They had also just been awarded a segment job for 15km of tunnel to expand the sewer capactity in York Region. The stock was at $25 per share. Then news was fast flowing and Chuck Philips assembly of a national supplier was taking flight. But that was then and this is now. Mr Anderson and his team have never performed to the level's of an Armtec stock above $20 per share. And as we see today -- they never will. They have become fearful of the market and offer no news of "big things" at Armtec. Nothing is happening with this cluster of tired assets and inept leadership. At this point Senior Executives are putting on dresses to ensure being the first in a lifeboat while all the other leaders seek to carve off enough of a bonus to allow them to survive long enough until the debacle of Armtec is forgotten. Sad thing is for a lot of share holders this collapse hurts their portfolio and the retirement plans it was supposed to support. There is no warmth that comes from the fire of watching this thing burn to the ground. Game set and match to Brookfield with these values they can't lose if the sell things off regionally for simple property value alone.
