Debating whether ARF is technically or practically solvent or insolvent and what any of the three brokers following this stock may say in their research material serves only to take investor eyes off the crucial focus.  What matters is the extent to which Brookfield is prepared to continue providing Armtec with financial assistance and at what cost.  Possibly Brookfield may have knowledge about Armtec's future financial position that has not been shared with owners of the company.   Brookfield is in the business of lending money that generates a very good return and which is repaid; ending up as the owner by default of a very troubled and poorly managed company seems an unlikely scenario.

Not so unlikely in my opinion. Brookfield has the resources and management ability to reposition the company. Similiar to private equity investment firms. They profit both from the lending and in the ultimate sale of a viable infrastructure company.....may even sell to "one of those private equity firms" to let them restructure. My concern is that they may have to force bankruptcy to ...more
