Insider Trading Rumor ... talks with Lafarge

the rumors of talks with Lafarge may not be just rumors and may result in one of the biggest deals this industry has ever seen. Lafarge has been rumored to be more than a potential buyer and a deal may be happening sooner than not.

IF Lafarge was interested...highly doubt but would only buy select plants out of bankruptcy. To many issues otherwise. They wouldn't be interested in the drainage side.

Lafarge wouldn't touch this dog. The only place Lafarge has maintained tertiary manufacturing of its vertical integration model in Alberta. They did that because they had heavily invested in the plant so it has a long life cycle and the margins for pipe and manholes in boom Alberta was too good to be true. What a difference 6 months makes. Lafarge owned PreCon and dumped it to Armtec for 40 ...more
