Share price cut

They are certainly good at doing that. Time for a normal course issuer bid!

The company intends to deploy capital and reduce the payout ratio. At current cash flows, an NCIB would go counter to these goals.

Yes management is on record saying a share buyback doesn't make sense for the company now. What I find most distressing now is how the share price is completely disconnected from the market. It's completely broken down technically and seems to be in freefall for no good reason. Fear, shorts, bad news coming...it's just a guess. Results were not bad and it shouldn't have drop 15% on ...more

Just panicking , most news has been decent, stock should not be  37 or 17, perhaps 20 to24 imho. they cleared issues, have good partners but yet we go lower ??? isnypt 12 times earnings reasonable..... 1.8 = 21.60 $.. not to mention earnings growth.  enjoy 9.2 % dividend... , but yes this is agony ! glta

As predicted in February: Alaris has fallen off a cliff. The question now is: how low does it go?

Lots of weak hands it seems... Hard to understand why someone would sell at a loss at this time of the year considering the stock is trading at about 9x 2018 earnings with a yield of 9.7%. That's without further investments done with the cash available in 2018. Only reason I see is people looking at the chart and dumping in fear.

Honestly, this is the most perplexing stock I have ever owned.  It's like it has some underlying disease that we can all sense but can't see. $18 ($17 definitely) seemed like it should have been a limit, but it wasn't.  And now, you'd need to have been around in 2011 to have seen this price before.  I don't think the dividend is really in any jeopardy, it is ...more

I concur, the price action is bizarre,  but I have hope! $24 in 16 months ..  9 times earnings ?

I cant stop buying small chunks as it declines... sooner or later it will be good! (i hope)

Brave soul. Why not wait a while? It gets cheaper as time passes by. Obviously there are NO CATALYSTS to reverse the trend of capital destruction. This is like an annuity; you get the dividend but your principal is forfeited.

so the last news was pretty good..  and AD went off a cliff.  Without some kind of amazing update the shares keep dropping to penny stock territory?  I will still buy some and wait with the divi
