this pattern is very reliable.. AD always goes up on the news and 100% comes down to the prices before the news. in effect losing all the ground it covered on the news... 
this has been happening since last few years...
anybody else finds it interesting ?

I was just commenting on this same point to a friend yesterday. Alaris cannot hold any gains. On modest good news it spikes for a day or two, then drifts back to where it started. Obviously this indicates that the market still remains skeptical about the dividend, despite management assurances, and a balance sheet that is now healthier than it's been for over two years. When a pattern is this reliable it becomes profitable for those trading it and the cycle can a difficult one to break. This one is multi year confirmed. Why would people quit dumping it following news when it's a foolproof way to make money / preserve capital?

The ONLY way I've been able to average down is to buy on extreme weakness and sell into ANY strength. I suspect that yes, many others burned by Alaris are doing exactly the same thing.
