I run mine through tfsa, have never had a problem with trade limits how ever there is a cap on how much money you can put into a TFSA depending on how long the account has been open ect. But you’d have to contact the bank to find out about your deposit limit. (Movie made from trades does effect the limit only deposits from outside of the tfsa) hope that is some help.
That was a stupid response haha, observe has the right idea, just looking into it more it seems as if there a few guidelines to determine if it would be deemed day trading but is also a case by case scenerieo (my guess is they care more about the big fish) and investment firms running through tfsa are more likely to fall into an audit and taxation then the regular investor/trader.
