I DON'T UNDERSTAND

I have been invested in this co. for some time now. With the latest news releases and partnerships this stock should be flying. Any insight into this?

Yeah, they just lost Intel and their products are not that great. But then again...I'm a Wi-lan investor, although I do own some Alvarion as well...I would have thought it would have popped a bit more on the Alcatel deal but seems investors are still stunned re: losing Intel. Apply to our private Wi-Lan board in the telecommunications folder. Even if you like Alvarion its good to know the ...more

I don't believe there was a news release...neither company would want to mention it as it is embarassing...especially for Intel b/c they've been shooting their mouth off about Wi-Max but Alvarion didn't have the technology to back it up. All I know is Intel signed on with a company in China (ZTE I think) and Alvarion responded signing Alcatel. D.

You have to read between the lines...Intel gave up its loyalty and b/c of that Alvarion will lose out on sales to Asia...where ZTE will takeover.
