RE: This is the best result yetA couple of keys points from today's awesome press release:
1) "Eric Owens, President and CEO of Alexandria Minerals, said, "These results confirm the near-surface width potential at Akasaba. Nearby historic drill holes suggest further potential at and below these depths, and we will be following up these results as part of the new drilling programme. The Company's activities for the upcoming summer months include at least 5,000 meters of drilling, further surface mapping, geophysics and trenching in order to identify targets along the Mine Horizon and elsewhere on the property. In addition, the Company's geologists are reviewing and re-logging core from some of the more than 25 historic drill holes in the area. "
This is sounding like more and more a SAN GOLD/ OSISKO type of discovery! If AZX can fill in the gaps between surface and gold at depth...WOW..look out.
Page 29 of Osisko presentation, looks like AZX poperty is sititng on the same Cadillac Break as Osisko ( located on other side of city of Val d'Or)

2) :To-date, the Company has identified more than
900 m of along-strike near-surface gold mineralization, open to the east and west, with high-grade drill intersections up to 20.48 g/t Au over 3.30 m"
It's important to note, these big numbers are near the surface!!!! Impressive!! Very low costs to mine!
3) "Gold bearing zones, and assay results are still pending for the final, easternmost hole,
DDH IAX-10-77, completed in the last round of drilling. "
If you take a look at the map, if this hole comes back with big results, look are far the near surface strike zone will stretch!!! How far does it go in both directions?? Akasaba is located smack in the middle of AZX property along Cadillac Break!

Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited is sitting in the wings licking thier chops! I think you'll see a continuous flow of exploration money from AEM.
