Alexandria`s NR

Alexandria`s NR``Alexandria's extensive mineral property portfolio stretches over 3 of the most important mining provinces in Canada - Quebec, Ontario, and Manitoba. The properties lie within world-class mining districts, including Val d'Or, Quebec, Red Lake, Ontario and Flin-Flon-Snow Lake, Manitoba.``

It looks like they are focused in on Val d`Or, Red Lake and Manitoba.  This is what I figured, given the Stockhouse article from a couple of weeks ago.  In that article they mentioned about looking at possble acquisitions at Red Lake and Manitoba.  Basically just kicking the tires on things, I assume.  They might be looking at optioning more exploration land adjacent to Alexandria`s deposits in Manitoba and exploration property in Red Lake.

Given the focus on these 3 areas, we should probably look for Alexandria to J/V or option out Fancamp and the Wawa area property.  Wawa might be tougher to option out than Fancamp I think.

I agree with Easycoder, this is a wrong time to option out the non-core properties.  Six months or a year from now might be better - when things are likely get going in earnest.  You`re not going to get much in return at this time.   It is a buyer`s market.  The only urgency I can think of is if Alexandria has to spend money on the non-core assets to keep them on good standings.  That could maybe justified moving them out early.  I don`t know, either eay, if that is the case here.
