Observation - Triangle Zone Vs No. 4 PlugBoth of these are mineralized bodies for Integra - located just north of Alexandria`s property.
They are both somewhat narrow intrusive bodies. For example, these types of intrusive bodies are much smaller than, say, the big East Sullivan intrusive body (which provides Alexandria s porphry mineralization, and creates a contact zone with the host rock where Alexandria`s Zone 5 and Hogg Zone resides).
Triangle Zone and No. 4 Plug both have diorite as the host rock.
The key difference is that the Triangle Zone also goes outside of the diorite intrusive body. Mineralization at the No. 4 Plug appears to be limited to within the diorite host rock.
Also, another difference (as noted previously) Triangle Zone mineralization is mainly somewhat (relatively speaking) narrow share veins (flat veins also) with very high grades while No. 4 Plug is comprised of wider widths with lower grades (some high grades also) which should allow for underground bulk mining (maybe long hole stoping, if the angles are right).
As noted, both are intrusive bodies and both are hosted by diorite material within the intrusive body.
Alexandria`s findings are consistent thus far. Alexandria`s first plug (first one discovered thus far - more to come) is hosted by diorite material. As a plug, it would also be an intrusive body.
I don`t think anything is off the table thus far for Alexandria. Until we get more drilling details, both Triangle style zone mineralization (where the shear veins also go well outside of the diorite intrusive body) and No. 4 Plug style mineralization (where the mineralization is limited to within the diorite intrusive body) are still on the table for Alexandria`s Airport property.
As a caution, one should also note that nothing is guaranteed, as Alexandria`s intrusive bodies could also be blank or host non-economical gold. Nevertheless, the findings thus far are well worth further tire kicking efforts.
The map below shows Integra`s Triangle Zone and Integra`s No. 4 Plug. The orange area represents the diorite instrusive host body. You can see the large shear veins going well outside of the intrusive body at Triangle Zone. You can also see the mineralization being contained within the intrusive body at No. 4 Plug.
Again, I think all scenarios are on the table for Alexandria`s Airport property at this stage. Geo results (and limited past drilling) are telling us we have 8 separate targets to test.
