Dying Embers and Glistening Bones -To all AZX shareholders of good faith and to EO -
Well, ladies and gentlemen, we have over the past few days borne witness to the last writhing gasps of a desperate man who has indeed taken on the persona of the proverbial trapped rat.
It is highly obvious to even the most casual observer that EO has come on this board, sent unauthorized e-mails helter skelter, published websites, engaged gaggles of lawyers to harass Alexandria Minerals and deplete its treasury, and therefore each of us and without cause, made outrageous and unsubstantiated statements and refused to answer repeeatedly posed and highly pertinent questions by members of this board, viz. shareholders, bearing on EO's proposals, his role in the lowering of the company's share price, the specifics of his own plan, among other misbehaviours.
As we are aware and our Board of Directors of Alexandria is even moreso, EO was dismissed for cause and what for all the world appears fraudulent material and yet he will not address questions posed to him pertaining thereto. This tells me he is not only attempting to hide and conceal actions which condemn him but that he also totally lacks any credible exculpatory evidence that would exonerate him of the charges and claims made against him in his role as CEO of Alexandria which, while he was plainly running it and our investments into the ground, he was calculatedly misleading the Board, the shareholders and the general public about the true state of affairs which was happening to Alexandria under his watch. This is shown in his secretive accounts and activities which he attempted to hide from public view including the procuring of funds which he placed into these accounts without the instructions of the company to do so. Thus, he was in fact dismissed for cause.
So now he comes forth to our Stockhouse board acting as a sore loser to further attempt to mislead, obfuscate, cause stress and harass us. IMO his behaviour has crossed the line from incompetent and dishonest to malicious and purposely damaging.
And sadly for him, his vain pleas fall upon deaf ears, deaf because he has destroyed the last iota of credibility he ever had. He now is as a fire whose flame is dying, the last few embers glowing ever more faint in his setting sun. He heralds what he perceives to be the omnipotence of his gaggle of lawyers but I surmise the only result to him will be to have his bones picked clean until they glisten white in the relentlessly hot sun of both emabarassment and destruction which shall rise the day after his fire is altogether extinguished.
He is a character of Shakespearean magnitude. Although we could examine a number of the Bard of Avon's works to find parallels to the combination of comedy and tragedy that is EO, I believe his lot is best expressd in
Macbeth.
Out, out, brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow,
A poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more:
it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. - Macbeth (c. 1605), Act V, Scene 5, line 23.
EO, give it up. End the futile madness. Shake hands and walk away in a bid to salvage a modicum of remaining dignity should there be one so that you may fight another day.
In military parlance, the intelligent general knows when the war is so against him or the battle so impossible there is no reasonable hope of victory. Be not an egotistical George Custer whose savage and callous recklessness led to his destruction and that of his 7
th Cavalry in the disaster at Little Big Horn in June of 1876.
Hold to respect and reality, eschew scorn and derision.
Reality trumps delusion every time.
