Alexandria Minerals Corp > Don't underestimate EO ...

Don't underestimate EO ...

EO might be "toxic" and the reason for the SP falling. The new meaning of this can be read in a different way: This one man with no obvious chance is able to bring down the SP ? He seems to be stronger than the current BoD ? I see the SP as a lost trust in the BoD, because their inactive manner. How comes, that a fired CEO is allowed to offer a meeting, Q/A sessions, personalized letter and much more. At the same time a LEGALLY voted BoD is waiting for the AGM ? Loosing ground is a questionable strategy ... Maybe some people will blame the BoD hitting new lows, rather EO. If EO (really) has the AEM support (means this is the fight between ES and AEM), then EO can exceed easily 25 % of the votes. Question remains, whether what he can do legally with such a bulk of votes ? Ever new requests for Special Meetings ? I similar cases, any Hedge Fund would be able to blow up a company with much less votes. If I would be the BoD ... I would take EO's efforts very seriously, which needs to include a very solid strategy to reach out to all shareholders, using the time until the AGM in a smart way. Otherwise the AGM can end in a big suprize for the BoD, even if EO would not have the majority.

In other words, BoD a reasonable offer should be a part of the voting package then smooth sailing. And yes I wear rose coloured glasses.....

PanyCheck - Don't overestimate ER, either.  Yes, he is toxic but he is worse than that.  I believe he would bring down the whole thing because of his personality disorders. It goes something like this, "if I can't have Alexandria, then nobody shall have it."  His coming on the board for a "little selective Q&A" was a pathetic stunt and shows just ...more

Shylock; You say,  ""The share price is down for a very simple reason"" I could throw in a few more reasons like,, A 1 for 20 or 25 share rollback, any "new" CEO will want to cleen house and the share count is where they start. AZX @ .04 is a high risk bet at this time. IMO M2
Comment by Shylock on Jun 19, 2018 6:04pm
M2 - Yeah, yeah, we've heard your broken record all before. "The Rollback Boogie" by M2. EO's shenanigans are inconsequential  . . .
Comment by nuggetin on Jun 19, 2018 2:20pm
No real bid at .04 now. Not really sure.Could argue benefits to either side unless Agnico is in on it and is in fact supporting EO.Silence by Board is sure not helpful and could impact voting.
Comment by Shylock on Jun 19, 2018 6:27pm
nuggetin - What exactly is it you want the Board to do for you?  They fired EO the fraud for cause and have made that perfectly clear. There is going to be a Special Meeting on 24 July to start to clean up this mess. No one would support EO unless they supported fraudulent activity and incompetence in view of what "progress" he brought the company over the past 9 years, which is ...more

That is a bold statement.  You seem to believe everything WH says.  I do not think WH has my best interest in focus. (jmho)  I am sure that EO does not, but your quote is a little presumptuous isn't it?   LRG
Comment by nuggetin on Jun 19, 2018 4:40pm
Don't know who made the bold statement BUT current management does have the responsibility to comment on significant volume and price changes in the stock price even if it is to state they have no knowledge of any reason. That would somewhat absolve them and we could conclude that EO is the driving factor which it appears.To-day there was well over 4 million shares traded on various exchanges ...more

Nuggetin, Was not referenceing your post. I do not trust management at all. I had conversations with WH and was told the RE would be much less than "advertised". Also told of the efforts to sell of the rest of the compnay to riase cash. No takers. They offered PRB the full 70% for $3.0 million on Sleepy. easycoder - Yes, precisely, the RE "surprise" can also be laid at the doorstep of EO. No matter which way you slice it, it all goes back to something EO did or did not do. This sort of internecine dissention always has a lowering effect on the price, either directly or indirectly.  That is the bad news. The good news is that it is temporary.  When the good ship Alexandria ...more

Shylock.   With you things always appear black or white with no possibility for shades of grey. Lots of moving parts here which no-one person is completely cognizant of. Luckily the packages are in the mail and the democratic voting process will soon be before us.Cheers

nuggetin - Cheers to you also and I, too, can't wait to get my package :-) I did not say there were no situations in life where "shades of gray" were applicable.  I simply have stated what is right and what is not right.  This sage involving Alexandria Minerals is not a "shades of gray" situation. Here are some other "blacks or whites" for you:  ...more

Hey M2  --  instead of spreading your ill-informed vile on this board, you should be providing comfort to your boyfriend ggrellette, who sold his honduran miner for yet another loss late last week.  What a loser!   Jmvho. goldopp

M2, It's obvious that you are trying to get in at a low price, but you won't get a good opportunity than the current situation where some people just want to get out. You might be able to get some at 0.04, however for a 0.5 cent extra you could get a fill for 1M shares (x 0.045 = $45k). Got $45k handy for a bet that could get you at least a 2x? mikenooks - Don't waste your time trying to reason with M2.  He is admittedly without shares but he comes on the board spouting his "one trick pony" routine of "rollback."  Really, it is the only word or strategy knows. nelson11 - The "Stateside turkey" says he likes EO because he's known him for years, or words to that effect.
