RE: anonymous

RE: anonymousCan anyone tell me who these anonymous guys are...how they trade and whythey choose to hide their idendity when buying and selling? Imean....I'm with CIBC. What's the big deal?  What's with the secrecy?

deet

==================

Some wealthy Individuals make it a point to remain secretive about their trading activities, and insists that it remains as such. Often they will have a sizeable position or plan to take a sizeable position and do not want to run into trouble with the SEC or TSX, by having it known that Mr. Billionaire, from Barrie , Ontario is slowly accumulating shares of AJC for example. Such would put a spot light on AJC and entice some to sell or rush to buy just because Mr. B is moving in for the kill or dumping, should Mr.B change his mind, then many could cry foul and claim  stock price manipulation or worst.

Hence stay secretive and avoid the pissing contest and people's nose in their business!

If I was Mr.B, that's what I would do.
