OSB markets

OSB marketsDistribution and retail buyers have scaled back purchases of OSB, in fear of mill start-ups.  In addition, demand is still spotty in many regions.  This means inventories are low, and the need to buy repeatedly in small amounts gives overall strength to the market.  So, we are seeing the mill order files move to late October.  Prices are creeping up.  ANS is an arbitrage play now, re LPX. Don't think we will see higher than 4.15 before the deal closes.   JMHO
