Great ride, more to come

although we've had a great run here I believe there is still a long ways to go in this lumber cycle. us housing starts still under 1 mil and should get to 1.5 mil in the next 2 years.also the japanese are stimulating their economy and that means more lumber from canada, plus there is demand from china,  simple supply and demand will keep lumber strong for a long time yet. we'll have some dips, which we just had along the way, but on every dip money will come pouring into these stocks, so much loot on the sidelines itching to get into the market. should consolidate here for a bit, hopefully, as we are back to old highs pre rites, then should see some more upside to who knows where. am also holding ifp.a and canfor in this sector and don't plan selling any of these any time soon.

cheers and gl  ferret

Great buying at the end of the day. Tomorrow should be a solid buying day and then we get to see the Q4 AND 2012 year results. Interesting also to see the warrants take a big jump as well.

Hey I own ANS and I see value with WEF..Your missing the point and the picture...All these large forest companies turning big ships loaded with losses and debt.........Any event you wont be buying it with my money as I already have.Don't need to be a diiiiiic about it..Boards for sharing ideas not insults

Hey Spec, don't be so sensitive.... M was not insulting anyone, just giving advice....using real numbers not just spouting bs like a lot of posters do....if you want to see insults just scroll down the page - M's post is not even close to an insult...........btw I agree with you that WEF also has seems to value - most of the lumber sector does in my opinion but I ...more

Lets move on..ANS is further ahead in the recovery and will book more profits quicker..But one needs to keep grounded and look for others as well.I just think WEF is at the same point ANS was 6 montyhs back,,their debt two years ago was 100 million. Now 15........Thats the tuurnaround you look for.....One can say equity was issued but it was here to..Enough of this on this board....ANS should ...more
