good clip. He says the OSB companies will exceed their market cap in free cash flow in 2 years. wow. Lets hope ANS rewards its shareholders and not buy more mills like in 2004. 2012 EBITDA / 365 days = earnings /day ANS = 111M/365=$304,000/day NBD= 187M/365=$512,000/day WFT=286/365=$783,000/day CFP = 268M/365=$734,000/day all these companies are printing money. Thanks very much for the data M! Very useful post. Any recommendation re: co's other than ANS? I will still be heavily invested in ANS but would like to diversify within this sector a bit......I am hopeful that ANS has learnt its lesson and will be rewarding its shareholders this time around...with the ownership structure now in place I think that will most likely be the case.....all imho.

A market correction will effect these lumber and OSB companies as well.Maybe not as much and any rebound they should go first.Never believe in a sure thing. While I too bel;ieve this is the place to be ANS and WEF no sure thing........

i thought about diversifying a bit as well, but lumber companies seem so oversold right now but i also thought that when WFT was $60. I have the same opinion as colin stewart in that OSB companies are printing money right now and ANS is realativily cheap compared to $36 for NBD that more people will come into ANS. Q1 numbers are already competed so we are guaranteed $425,000 per day EBITDA from ...more

Makes sense, M. On a related note, do you or anyone else here have any idea what to do about gold/silver mine stocks? I have a bunch, bought in the belief that pog would rally based on QE, currency devaluation, and Europe risk.....looks like the CBs may be keeping the pog down and these stocks are in a permaslump......I am thinking of dumping most of them (except Kinross, SLW and MMP.UN   ...more
