BTG sells $120M Prime Debt to AOI.

As part of the deal AOI buys USD 120M. BTG debt share. Prime has total $240M debt. Looks like they want to pay it down asap.  This means zeo money for SH.

Good deal for BTG who gets their hands on Namibia and AOI massive entitlement.  I like the div and cash distribution aspect, as well as the Jan 2024 effective date.

Imho, it's a great deal. But no symplifying of the structure. They'll create the 100th sub-company, so I don't expect the overhead to come down. They'll rename the "burned" ...more

Interesting agreement over the weekend with BTG.  If I read it correctly, Prime becomes 100% owned by AOI, and BTG becomes a 35% owner of AOI. Current shareholders essentially double the cash ...more

I Have Been Around

Since about 2010, and I blew my opportunity to sell this when it was over $9 US.  Two people told me it ouwld go to $60, and it did not.  Oh well I am still holding my shares.

Easy to answer: Their vision is to get salaries and freebies until retirement. The future of Nigeria: Always declining and Namibia will make up for it. Eog is worthless...better to wait for chapter ...more
