I wish they had held on to their Kenya venture. It may have been worth something down the road.

Agreed, this may prove to be far more important than Kenya and the timing of the Upstream article suggesting they hit a resevoir on a critical appraisal well makes for good timing to make it official and easy for both AOI and Total to walk away and wash their hands of Kenya. It has served it's purpose and is no longer needed - or wanted. In my mind Tullow did not gain 50% of an asset, but ...more
