Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Noodling and Mother Nature

Noodling and Mother NatureBlue do you have an opinion, or is it too early, regarding likely production variations by quarter, due to lumens and other reasons, which do and will continue to occur in the average year due to mother nature. Your comment yesterday and others made by the CEO about Mother Nature,
"Aphria is in the midst of the best Q for growing from a Mother Nature POV (Jun-Aug)", reminded me of how, after the release of Q3 production, I had speculated as to how seasonality would effect yields in each quarter. For example if Q1, the peak quarter, is weighted say at 100 would Q2 be say 95, Q3 85 and Q4 90.

The other question I have when mother nature cooperates is do the buds just get bigger and heavier at the end of the 12 weeks and or can the harvest occur earlier?

One day I might know more about Cannabis than I do about grapes, although I doubt it.

Thanks in advance.
