Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Truth about the police and weed

RE:RE:Truth about the police and weed

Im not talking about the actual pot... I meant the "Proceeds of crime", which could be anything.
I will give you an example... A guy I knew was running a pretty big op...
He either had to give up his dwelling (worth 1 mil plus) PLUS around 70 grand cash.
Sure, you could say he knew was he was doing, that what he was doing was illegal. Fine.
But... the fact remains that they seized all of that stuff, and I know for a fact the police kept it for their dept.
This is problematic. It incentivised the police to seize peoples assets. That should not happen.
As for calling them pigs, I myself have had some very bad experiences with the police (almost being shot being one of them... long story...) Illegal search of my vehicle, etc, etc... Fyi, to this day, I have no criminal record, and have one speeding fine. lol
Sure, you could say they have a tough job, and that 2/10 officers do a good job...
But i would say a good 8/10 cops are there for the power trip. The ability to say Im better than you or more powerful.
