Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Notwithstanding they have been in busienss for 149 years and have current sales of $2.8 billion dollars, Miracle-Gro would have been subject to a de-listing review had they been listed on the TSX because according to TSX policy they are providing services or products for businesses that grow or distribute marijuana in the United States.

Most readers here are familiar with Scotts Miracle-Grow.  The company gets its marijuana association through a subsidiary, Hawthorne Gardening.  This subsidiary provides Miracle Gro products allowing for cannabis to be grown.

It will be interesting to see if the TSX demands Horizon's Marijuana ETF fund to either drop Miracle Gro as one of its holdings or face a de-listing review.  Does this mean any public transportation company listed on the TSX or TSXV exchange that deliver Miracle Gro products are now subject to review?

Me thinking there are a lot more companies than we can imagine listed on the TSX or the TSXV that are providing services or products for businesses that grow or distribute marijuana in the United States.

Sounds crazy and far fetched, but it may not be so crazy when you consider we are talking about an organization "TSX" that openly admitted on BNN that they allowed (approved) marijuana companies to list while engaged in the US marijuana commerce.   And now wanting to dial it back, relying on the legal doctorine known as "opps".

I couldn't find anything on their site for Miraclegrow, promoting the use of its products for MJ cultivation.

I invested in them, previously, because of this. However,i can see nothing to say that they are marketing their products to consumers as being for MJ cultivation....so no federal laws broken.
