Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Expect Shareprice Uplift

Expect Shareprice UpliftSince the NUU/APH deal is finalized - and depending when the closing date is expect the share price of APH to be uplifted.

Remmeber that big money is running an arbitrage on APH share price.

Sell short APH; Long NUU; and collect the pricing mismatch. As transaction closes NUU holders receive shares + cash to cover APH shorts.

Long story short - APH price will follow the market more closely now  and short pressure will decline.

Those that are saying "should drop a little" know nothing about merger arbitrage.
