I think this takeover is part
of a bigger plan. I believe this takeover is just to take out the shorts and make them suffer. I think APHA/ Schottenteins have put this news release out their without any intention of going through with a takeover . Vic and the board is working to punish the shorts. This announcement will follow up with the HC approval announcement followed by the rebuttal followed by earnings/ Diageo deal. I don't think there is really any intention that GGB will go ahead with the buyout. IMHO
