Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Tell me something. If a bottle of THC spray that sells in a Canadian Government dictated dispensary for $110 tell me what you think the Government paid for it. Let’s see. Let’s try the high side. $20. The cut should be $50 to the LP. $30  to the dispensary and the remaining scraps for the Gov. Try running a private business with the margins the Government has left the LP’s. You will be out of business. Shouldnt be surprised I guess ..Our Government  still makes us go to a separate store for alcohol. States has been allowing alcohol to be bought everywhere for decades. Even at Costco they make us go to a separate area. Like WTF??? Do like the states and sell that shitt right next to the solar lights. Unreal. I’m telling you guys. There is going to be a change. Just like the articles said. Canada takes their eye off the ball for a second and we lose possession. We lost it. Now the yanks are running full throttle. Don’t believe me. Visit Vegas. Then tell me how we compete. G

You really do not understand that each country will regulate its own MJ.  You think a US grower will be able to sell in Canada.  Absolutely no way that is going to happen.   There is still protectionism in place.  Our Mj will be higher cost then the US .  Of course .  Most things in the US are.   We have a higher costs and low population spread accross a huge country.  Our shipping costs alone will be 20% higher in Canada then in the US.  You can't compare the two.  Seperate countries will have different costs.
