Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:production short fall

RE:RE:production short fallI read this morning where the CEO of Canopy is predicting $1 billion in revenue not by the end of 2020 but by the end of this year. It seems that all the major producers are expecting the light switch to be flipped on in terms of revenue from production later in this calendar year. Aphria is no exception as they are hinting at night & day revenue growth at the end of 2019 compared to where they are now. Speaking for myself I hope all these forecasts are correct and investors in pot stocks can finally relax even if a little knowing the cannabis industry is finally coming of age. It would be nice for a change to not to spend time discussing the issues but rather looking forward to nothing but smooth sailing ahead.
