Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

The US election is in November 2020. My thoughts are we will definitely not see legalization in the US by then nor will there be any any attempt to legalize during the election run-up. Once a new president is elected in or Trump is reelected than the process to legalize will start. Serious talks in Congress will start in 2021 . Which leads me to believe full legalization will start in 2022. The Canopy/Acreage deal is signaling the same. Even Constellation is extending their warrants on WEED to play it safe.
