Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Alloparc wrote: Here's the thing, you are stating opinions as facts, which is a false argument.  You are entitled to your opinion, but my post was providing facts based on disclosures, NRs and financials.

1. This is your opinion on the purchase of Pharma CC.  I was simply stating why inventory levels on the financials doubled, as several on the board were making comments like "not selling any weed, inventory has inflated to $86.2 million."

2. Without anything to support your claims, it's just your opinion. If you can provide any legitimate commentary from experts backing up your claims, by all means.

You mention the delays in getting their approval for the expansion, wouldn't that be a reasonable reason why they missed yield projections?  Can't grow in space that hasn't been approved.

3. Until they release who is participating in the financing (which we could find out today), this is just opinion.  I was merely providing the details of the bond structure as there was a flood of posts talking about "Death Spirial Financing" which was completely false.  That type of bond is structured as coverting at a set $ value, which APHA announced bonds do not.

4 & 5. I'll combine these two, because you again are just offering opinion and are in fact putting words in my mouth.

I never said that the write down was "no biggie." Or that LATAM was "profitable even."  I simply provided what the company has said about the write down, a very brief overhead view of what is involved with goodwill impairment testing, and ended with the reader, as a individual needs to determine what that means.  I'll expand that comment and say, if the facts provided aren't enough, do your DD and do more research.

I refrained from offering my opinion on anything related to Vic's dealings, and just simply acknowledged what information we have been provided. I will still refrain from offering my opinion.  Folks need to dig into the details themselves.  Believing a short seller at face value is a fallacy.  The same can be said for the other side as well.

You have made these claims about Vic & Simon before, but I personally have not been able to find any info that would hint to this type of connection.  Without any support for your claims, the only factual statement there is that Simon is CEO and chairman, Like Vic was.

One other point on the increased inventroy position.   $34M of the increased Q over Q inventory is due to CC Pharma.  We acquired CC Pharma and also acquired their inventory.

Inventory in terms of MJ increased as follows

                           Nov 2018         Feb 2019
Harvested MJ    $15,497,000        $19,255,000
Cannabis Oil      $15,091,000        $18,472,000

So really Q over Q inventory in MJ only increased about $7M.
