Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

MHO: I'm not sure to be truthful.

One the one hand, CEO that is super accessible to investors is something you don't see everyday, and through my DD I figured he would have some contact given his track record.  Conference call with investors the other week, I honestly didn't believe actually happened.  Then the confirmation came out through APHA's statement clarifying some things.

On the other hand, this is the same guy that when he joined APHA described it as getting hit with a 2x4 constantly...  I don't know. If things are that upended in the company, should he be spending time answering emails and taking conference calls with twitter investors?

I'm left with a cautiously optimistic but trying to be realistic view point of it all I guess.

I mean... Elon Musk loves his twitter following right?  Might just be the new world we live in.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I hate losing sales

Hi Irwin

I am an APHA shareholder for about 2 years now.  I recently sent the below email to Joel @ Investor relations in regards to the fact that the Cannrelief website not working.

I see that the website is still not working.

I just though I would bring it to your attention.  Hopefully someone on your end can take a look at it.

Thanks

I personally didn't think he was going to respond when I sent the email. The fact that he did and not dish it off to an assistant, gives me a sense that he is hands on in the business. That is reassuring. I am by far not the largest share holder. But he seems to be willing to talk to all of us equally. I like that. I once sent an email to Vic awhile back when he was at the helm. He did not respond. Maybe because Vic was arrogant or maybe Vic felt he did not need to respond to a sole small shareholder. I feel Irwin is more open. To me that is very comforting.

further reply in regards to the German website "Good morning, Thank you for your email. The site has been down as adjustments are made and we expect it to be up again soon very shortly. In the meantime, if there was something specific you were looking for please let me know how we can assist you. Cheers, Tamara " I believe they are introducing more products into Germany. NUU/APHA has many brand names trademarked in Europe.
