Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Approval of DD won't do much in todays sentiment for LP's.  I almost don't want to see an approval until Aug.  Unfortunately I believe approval will be here this Friday or next at the latest.

You are probably right. It is a long term game. It is all about increasing revenue and EBITDA. LP's can grow as much weed as they want. If they can't turn a profit then shite will start hitting the fan. A lot of people were pissed off when Irwin said before he enters the US he wants to " get Canada right". He is right . You can't build a building without a strong foundation. A good portion of the licenses being issued are to companies that will never even get off the ground. 2020 will be the year LP's start to consolidate. Most have weak balance sheets. They will have difficulty raising more money to absorb the losses. They will need to consolidate to survive.
