Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Not to mention it will surprise the sector. We now have a CEO who is playing to his own strengths. I am not going to speculate, but, I so like how Irwin has been measured and reserved. He appears to be in the zone and I believe he will not disappoint us.

I don't like a big tobacco JV personally.  It just conflicts with the medical side IMHO.  IF APHA aligns itself with big tobacco where does our postion stand with the likes TBP who are creating solutions for cancer pain?  I just don't like the conflicting story that would need to be told if APHA aligns itself with big tobacco.

If APHA were to go down this route then split APHA into two companies APHA rec and APHA medical.  Let the two companies run seperately. The unfortunate and fortunate part of MJ is that it is probably the only product that I can think of that has rec benefits along with medical benefits.
