Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Buying Back

Buying Back

Bearing in mind that right now, we have about 30 million shares with short interest, Aphria must urgently think about share buy back program amounting to about one hundred million (or up to 1/2 of toatal short interest).

We would achieve the following:

a / stabilization of the share price;

b / with price stabilization, we would acheive serious leverage in any existing or future negotiations with potential partners;

c / this would probably force the former management (owig about 10 pct of shares) who has now started selling them and pushing the price down, to reconsider...

d / we would finally break the neck of the sorters who have been pushing us down for far too long;
What is the opinion of this board about that?
