Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Some number crunching

Some number crunchingusing YE2019 numbers

(in millions)

Revenue: $231100
Cost of Goods Sold: $161689 (31.8%)
Gross Profit: $75421
Operating Expenditure: $162537 - impairment charge reported ($58039)
Operating Loss: ($87116)

If we assume APHA reports $150M in revs in October and an increase in GP to 35% due to increased MJ sales.  I would estimate the following

Revenue: $150000
Cost of Goods Sold: $97500
Gross Profit: $52500 (35%)
Operating Expense: $50000
Operating Profit: $2500

This is analysis just on operations .  I am not considering any gains from non operating income or losses from an impairment charge in this Q.
