Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Why Aphria (TSX:APHA) Is Canada’s Top Pot Stock to Buy Today

RE:RE:Why Aphria (TSX:APHA) Is Canada’s Top Pot Stock to Buy TodayI initiated a position here at 4.35 USD. I look at the following: 1. Balance sheet (assets and debt) 2. Goodwill and intangible assets 3. Profitability 4. Market cap vs tangible assets APHA balance sheet is roughly the same as CGC and ACB except the latter are massively overvalued and have much more goodwill. APHA is by far better valued at this level plus I'm not as concerned for potential writedowns compared to ACB and CGC. I wouldn't touch ACB unless it trades under 1.
