Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

If experience of the past 18 months has taught me anything that is not to get excited about anything APHA related for more than a few minutes. Stock price went up 40% in one day after announcing the profitability. And then APHA did it once again and it was 10%. Third time they did that it was at 0%. 45% increase in retail sales while everyone else saw significant drops in retail sales did not matter one single tiny bit. Imagine what the 'market' reaction would have been had WEED or ACB announced something like that??

CIBC (for the most part), Anonymous and TD (as of lately) have APHA by their proverbial donuts and are keeping the price at ~$6.5 whether we want it or not. At this point of time, I'm inclined to think that only a major JV or partnership with someone gigantic would help the cause. Anything else, including a $100 million 'strategic institutional' investment won't do anything other than further extend the agony of waiting for sp to go up. Patience is a virtue indeed, although quite often it is questionable.

Agree 100% - Good post & summary.
You need to be in to win but always be ready to protect your Portfolio
*always seems to be something but Aphria gets no respect,....
but it will. Just look at the vision & the success of Elon Musk & Tesla.
Resignations & turmoil in already volatile sector.
Professor CoronaVirus,..etc.
Aphria will decouple from all of them and become Market Leader with an enviable Business Model.
