Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

What to expect...

What to expect...In the coming period, Irwin will try to maintain profitability and clean the company of debts at all costs. This, of course, means even more dilution and unfortunately more pain for the retails. Meanwhile, with a few serious catalysts coming from the United States, Apha will be ready for sale - clean, debt-free, profitable and inexpensive ... How it will play out remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that Irwin will know how to get the most out of it for himself and for his team (which is why there are no insiders buying so far). Given that Irwin, unlike the unfortunate Vic, has serious experience in Wall St. and has a great understanding of how the market works, I have no doubt at all that he will be successful in his endeavor. For retails, however, two questions remain, one is how long this preparation period will last, and the other, to what extent will Apha be allowed to run without weights before pulling the trigger...
