Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Canopy is going into what they like to call a transition year, figuring out all the basic stuff like

  • Cut costs (previously layed off people and stopped expansion)
  • What is the next wave of employees they will layoff
  • Facilities they wanna close
  • How to not miss opportunities and understand what the consumer wants
  • Redisgn of Supply chain
  • How to become profitable
  • Good job for their drink niche and US future presence
  • Really hope Shareholders will be rewarded after all that cash burn

Aurora Cannabis

  • Announced that they will stop operations at 5 facilities
  • They earlier announced lay off and ceased expansion plans
  • They will lay off more people
  • Impairement and probably cheap selling of the 5 facilities
  • Really tight on cash
  • How to become profitable
  • Has a result the supply chain will have to be redesigned also
  • Good job on finaly taking real actions before bankruptcy

Meanwhile you have Aphria
  • Only laid off few people from marketing
  • Didn't close any facility
  • Increased net revenue by 20% Q over Q
  • Annouced a 50% increase for CC pharma during the month of march
  • The demand for the product was so good they had to buy wholesale and took a hit on margins
  • Ebidta positive for 4 quarters
  • Even posted a positive earning per share 2 out of the last 4 times
  • Aphria One and Aphria Diamond now running at 100%
  • Alot of top seller on the OCS
  • Aphria one is EU GMP certified, guess what we have a company called CC Pharma
  • CC Pharma the best acquisition of all time compared to all the good wills the other companies carry on their books that bring 0 value to the shareholder
  • Incredible cash balance since we don't burn it like our competitors

Yes I repeat myself alot but when you think about it, for all those reasons, Aphria is incredibly undervalued.  It's only because our distribution revenue for the moment is higher than our cannabis revenues. At the end of the day money is money but the streets will be impressed when we start to have cannabis revenues higher than distribution revenues.

Most importantly, with Aphria One and Aphria Diamond 100% and Hexo/Aurora reporting an increase in their sales for almost the same period Aphria is about to report, I really doubt we pull a Canopy Growth and decrease revenues.

After Q4, when we beat Aurora Cannabis in cannabis revenues, just need to do more than 75M, yes it doesn't cover the exact same period so not fair to compare but how can you do it then? This will begin the road to finally getting the attention, appreciation and respect Aphria deserve for growing and being cautious with costs constantly.

The share will be on the road to double digit after we report Q4.

Irwin Simon is a master planner, he's playing chess, not checkers.  Do you realise we are 1 year ahead on our competitors still struggling with the basics and not sure if they will exist in 2021 (talking about all the others canadian cannabis companies not just the companies I mentioned above)

After Q4 , the big tobacco, big liquor, big pharma and big institution will believe that we have a good thing growing.

My post looks like big pump but it's just how different and successful Aphria is compared to their competitors especially given Aphria current market cap. You should really read the transcript of other canadian cannabis companies and read their financials.

Good job to the bulls that continue to post interesting article links or opinion with some facts to back it up. For the others that still didn't put the bashers on ignore and continue to Quote them and answer them ... Well, I'm really dissapointed with you, I'm now adding you also to the ignore list.

See you after Q4 results are out  (the payback day after being overshadowed for  many years by competitors for all the bad reasons)
