Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:US Election & Mexico

RE:RE:US Election & MexicoHistorically, if a bill gets passed by both the Congress and the Senate the president will ratify it. I know that Trump is a wildcard on some issues, but I don't think he would block de-criminalization in the MORE act or similar bills. I think the last statistics I read held 60% of the American population in favor of decriminalization (although I don't care much for pollsters). Hence, the only change we need to set off the fireworks is an additional 4 senators; or 3 senators and oval office. Obviously getting the oval office will be a big plus but its not technically necessary to make major progress and start opening up the US markets to Canadian MJ. Just think our over supply problem will become an under production problem! What a game changer that will be.
