Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:This merger is just BS

RE:This merger is just BS

There is no official news on a merger of any sort. With some companies struggling for survival and Aphrias need for growth especially in the US market, consolidation people feel is the natural course of action. You can see throughout all of history in the markets, emerging sectors tend to consolidate in the early years. Even Pepsi asked coke to buy them (a decision they regret not taking). Food chains and beverage companies have consolidated and so on.

We know for fact Aphria and ACB explored a possible merger and were very close and serious about it. Disagreements led to both parties taking a few steps back. So to say it's "bull Shite" is not really appropriate. We have reason to believe mergers are being explored because the sector needs to consolidate and we know for fact opportunities are being explored. Good luck longs
