Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:The strategy

RE:RE:RE:The strategy Look you've seen my posts in the past?  Who's been more critical of Irwin Simon?  Yes it's a great move. I'm sure the depressed economy led to a discount of the purchase price. It may have been twice that cost. He gave us a foothold in the USA reletaively cheap considering what we're getting. It's expensive for Aphria but not bad for what it is. Furthermore we are now on the cusp of a Vancvine and treatments for COVID 19. Many companies are finalizing their FDA approval. Eventually stimulus cheques will roll out and slowly but surely the economy will rebound again. He purchased a beverage company that reports millions in revenue. We can generate revenue selling beer and spirits which tend to do better in depressed economies. Furthermore, Irwin would do well to partner with another major corporation which he still may. For everything he's done this far that's been lacking and brutal to the stock, this move was fantastic
