Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Should I cheer for Tilray, Aphria or both::))?The merge ratio should be constant so you will receive the same amount of shares regardless of TLRY value, the value of those shares will be whatever the market value is on the day for TLRY. Normally arbitration will close the gap dramatically within a week of the closing date. It has happened where the gap does not close and the spread is so large that the deal is renegotiated in a situation where one company is in control, I dont think this applies with these two as they both bring equal advantages and putting the deal at risk would be bad for both. From what I understand TLRY will dual list on the TSX the question I have is will they do this prior or post merger? If they do list prior it will be simple, you will see TLRY shares in CAD, on the merge date you will get the negotiated ratio and see your share as TLRY valued in CAD. If they list on the TSX post merger then I guess we will see our new TLRY shares moved to the new US exchange and converted in USD....then possibly it will be arranged to move those shares over to the TSX once listed and converted into CAD? Thats the bit I am really not sure on but regardless the only real price to look at is the TLRY ticker and the USD exchange rate imho? Any conversion charges should be part of the merger and not charged to the individual shares. I'm not a pro so don't take this as advice just simply the way I see it.
