Should I cheer for Tilray, Aphria or both::))?

A long time APH investor here ,with a simple question.

As long as Tilray goes to the moon and stays put, does  it really make any difference what Aphria 
does provided the deal goes through and we get .82 of a Tilray  share in USD ?.

As an avid sports fan, I want to cheer for one side ::)))

I've been thinking about this as well, as long as TLRY is doing well, does it really matter what APHA does? Assuming that the exchange takes place in the Summer. At exchange rate of 0.8381, we should be around $21 CAN Can someone clarify or am I missing something, thanks in advance Oz

Take 2  Are there investors on this board who may have been through a similar takeover before who may be able to share some insight on this question . It seems to me ,it is possible that Tilray, being more familiar in USA may very well be way ahead of APH when deal closes ..If so, that would be super fior us ,.  Am I missing something here ?. ---------- Question : As long as Tilray ...more

The merge ratio should be constant so you will receive the same amount of shares regardless of TLRY value, the value of those shares will be whatever the market value is on the day for TLRY. Normally arbitration will close the gap dramatically within a week of the closing date. It has happened where the gap does not close and the spread is so large that the deal is renegotiated in a situation ...more
