Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Shares

RE:Shares
  • We’re on track to close Tilray at the end of April or early May of 2021 following the receipt of regulatory approvals and shareholder approval for both companies, and I’m really excited about getting this done.
  • First, in addition to maintaining their NASDAQ listing, we understand that Tilray is working on registration under the TSX so that the combined entity will be dual-listed post-closing. It is a goal of the combined entity to maintain its place on the S&P-TSX Composite Index.
