Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:The merger:

RE:The merger:Curious to see if we have a short covering rally into the days before the .8381 haircut.

Let's hope that Irwin Simon has an ace up his sleeve with an after merger announcement. Some sort of bullish catalyst to put pressure on the short sellers. At this point we are not rangebound and I would like to see some prints on the tape to provide more support and get a bottom in.

From the Fins: The remaining increase is from transaction costs associated with the acquisition of SweetWater, the proposed business combination with Tilray, other potential acquisitions and one-time litigation costs.

However, a No vote (which I think is highly unlikely) would kill the share price in the short term. My buy order in the mid $16s didn't get taken out today which really doesn't matter because I would much rather see green. Without any catalysts in the near future however, I think we may be rangebound for a while. Year 5 is sooooo much better than years 3 &4.
