Concern i have about Aphria
I'm hearing more and more evidence that consumers want low priced product. In the early days, as consumers got acquiainted to legal bud, they were willing to pay up for craft supply. fast forwad 18 months and that is no lnger the case.
Glad we decided not to expand our cultivationg with Broken Coast. And i heard we are selling a lot less of it. Here RIFF is our best brand followed by solei

I can testify to this, $100 for 7 g is starting to hurt, and the potency isn't quite what it was at launch. Still great bud, but I load up on Good Supply and Riff whenever available. Riff is also adding new strains often, unlike BC which I suspect keeps the good stuff for medical

My last order of Jean Guy was close to 29% THC. Not sure about their other brands, but the Aphria Jean Guy is the highest potency I've ever seen.

jealous! I've got a Jean Guy packaged Jan 29 at 22% rn. Feel like I haven't seen a 25+ in ages. Imagine buying booze with this variability, it's roulette; can't wait for LPs to dial these in

With 255k kg of capacity, most of it being automated I'm sure if push came to shove Aphria could undercut all of the other lp's and still turn a profit if they need to. Last Q they had to buy product from other LP's to re-sell so I'm guessing they aren't being hurt by their pricing at all.
