Humanist, sometimes it's APHA and at other times it's the whole sector. It was APHA last Friday with its reduction of long term debt through dillution. Today is the whole sector that's down. I've learned over the last couple of years to always check the SP of WEED/ACB/HEXO/etc to see what's going on. Currently, WEED is at -7.7%, ACB is -11.5%, APHA is -7.6%. So ya, APHA has not ...more

Everyone must be busy protecting their Investments,.....This is more than Cali,...Anyway,.....Cash is good but I feel the bottom is here. But, I'm rarely correct,....just keep working at it,....sold Tesla (-4.20%) & Alefia (-3.17%) & GWPH (4.92%) this morning. I'm adding to my Aphria now because of theses prices but I'm hesitant to buy too much without any for ...more

I'm a new poster and obviously following thisstock. All the producers are getting hammered today. And it doesn't seem to be commensurate with the market overall. Many believe that the last quarter was an anomalie because people were buying extra thinking that the shops would be closed during the pandemic. Therefore they think sales will be much quieter for the next quarter.

When to Expect Profits From Canada's Pot Producers -- Barrons.com Friday, May 8, 2020, 11:18 AM ET   By Bill Alpert  The Covid-19 pandemic brought an initial flurry of stockpiling by consumers, but it has probably hurt the sales of well-known Canadian cannabis producers such as Canopy Growth, Tilray, and Aphria. That leaves Stifel analyst W. Andrew Carter ...more

Understand the economy---and a likely recession. Millions have lost jobs. Bearish economic news triggers a sell-off. Canadian pot stocks also trade on US exhanges. When the DJI tanks, so does the S&P 500, Nasdaq---Pot stocks on US exhanges. Only two months ago, the S&P500 tanked to 2100, which triggered a sell-off in all markets, including APHA, which dropped below $3.00 COVID-19, a ...more

Not just the sector its the whole market, US releases unemployment numbers normally on Wed maybe having an affect,  I figured 2% drop today but not this.  If there is no rebound in the last hour tomorrow will not be nice either,  if your serious about this company long term next few days might give you a good buy in. Just be careful this is not a stock for quick profits but a long ...more

Yeah thats right Grapes, but 5% drops isn't worth it for the longs. My cash on apha is building and need to make a purchase soon. Maybe Irwin will make a big announcement (their due for major one) and attract some shorters to remove the risk for the longs.
